"Queen Mary 2“

Since July 19 2004, the 'Queen Mary 2' has been a permanent fixture in the Port of Hamburg's cruise schedule. The 'Queen of the Seas' last called at Hamburg on the 6th of August before setting sail for the Norwegian fjords. She returned to Hamburg on the 14th of August, and on the same day set off on her classic transatlantic voyage via Southampton to New York.

Queen Mary 2 is the only ocean liner still in service today. The flagship of the Cunard fleet, she still exudes the charm of the transatlantic liners of the early 20th century. With a length of around 345 metres and a beam of almost 49 metres, she can accommodate over 2,600 passengers.

Cruise lovers can admire the Queen Mary 2 at the Cruise Centre Steinwerder. She is due to dock there again on October 15.
